What Type Are You?

Okay…this is too much fun. Pentagram has a quick little interactive web programme that tells you what typeface you are, which if you think about it too long doesn't make sense. You are required to answer four questions and it will reveal something about yourself and your style. According to my answers, I am Dot Matrix (not to be confused with the 1987 Mel Brooks character in Spaceballs or the name of a character on the show ReBoot).

The Dot Matrix font is a 2-dimensional array of dots used to represent characters, symbols and images. Typically the dot matrix was used in older computer printers and many digital display devices. In printers, the dots are usually the darkened areas of the paper. In displays, the dots may light up, as in an LED or CRT display.

Take a few moments, check it out and see what type you are. I was surprised to find out I was Dot Matrix. I always considered myself Curlz or something silly like that! I suppose it is better than being Helvetica though. Helvetica is used for everything and gets no rest. Hmmm…this really sounds more like me. Maybe I'll have to take the quiz again.
